Abstract chip carving
This chip carving uses one element in several variations. The basic principle is a regular 90° triangle that with its corner being the deepest area. The remaining material is then carved away with a flat chisel. It gives a different shadow depending on how you hold it and creates a shifting pattern of areas that are in a shadow or lit.
